The name Chad originated in 7th Century England (or the area which is now England) as the name of a Bishop who founded many monasteries and later became a saint.
His remnants are venerated in St Chads Roman Catholic Cathedral in Birmingham , not far from here.

Twas only natural to... impersonate him at some point. It was originally a comission to fit in with the ConFuzzled 2013 Medieval theme but I sort of forgot about it when I thought I probably couldn't go to CF.
