#1 - Male. Since Succubus are kind of humanoid (in some circles) and I was hoping for a human face on this one... would you mind crossing it with a scorpion or manticore?

#3 - Female. Species crossed with a human, I think. What can I say? I fell in love with your human faces. *Grins*

Yeah, sure! I'll give the Manticore a try since Succubus to me are also pretty humanoid, this one is going to be a little on the creepier side to fit the phobia. If his design is too over the top once it's designed we can change it. haha.

I'm sorry! The prices probably wouldn't be so high if these adopts weren't so detailed (and I'm broke too so...) but I am glad you like it! I will most likely finish the design on my own once this batch is cleared out. If no one claims it I plan on making it a Sabre Tooth Tiger that's a little on the cartoonish side due to the stitching and everything. It was the design that popped into my head almost immediately when I was designing the egg. Haha.

No worries on how long it takes. I completely understand how real life can shove art to the side no matter how badly we want to finish it! I'm not in any sort of hurry, I'm just glad my mate is being epicly amazing and awesome and letting me use his PayPal since mine is being a butt. (Payment sent BTW)

The biggest thing I've seen that's helped me is to talk to a lot of people and try many different styles. If you can, go to galleries to see what other local artists are creating and it's a great place to meet people who can give you their own tips. If you manage to get into a show at a gallery, just be careful. Make sure you don't get stuck the way I did and that you get your stuff framed for a decent price so that you can either break even or profit from the show. ( I owed my grandparents and my mother money for like a year even though I sold a piece for $300 I only got %60 of the asking price of each piece and wound up owing my grandparents around $700.)

But the best thing to do is just keep at it, try different things in both style and maybe even medias. People in the art world look for things that are unique and different. Good luck! I wish I had better advice but my main thing for myself lately has just been doing what I can outside of my day job to make ends meet. The principle is essentially the same online too. Finding something that you can specialize in will give you a good group of clients to work with. I didn't have many commission offers before I started working on Character Creation and Tribal work... Getting some of my more specialized and unique art out there really seemed to draw a lot of people in. And now that I've grown from practice and have accumulated more watchers from my adoptables and tribals, I find myself getting a lot more commission offers for all types of things.
