Despite being the hyperactive aleways happy, carefree monkey we know and love Tech has one big problem he had since he was about 15. He i almost compleatly unable to show, express, understand or think about love. Any relationship he was ever in he just went threw the motions and he could care less when the relationship ended. If people hit on him he will not get the hint at all and if someone tells him directly he will not trust them. This lead to Tech being the only character to be single in his mid 40s (Max had Jess, Wolf had Kou, and Rose had Diego) it was made worse by the fact he had a very wild out of control son.

After Tech's spirit is repared he regains his ability to use all of his emotions (Most negative emotions were sealed so he doesn't know how to deal with anger eather causing him to be rather grumpy all the time without knowing why.) and one of the seal guardians locked in Tech known as Love got busy trying to help Tech develop actual relationships.

Vlad is a perfect match and is basically everything Tech physically desires. the only problem is though Tech likes him he still resists any attachment to him, though very slowly he is realizing how lonley he was and eventually he may give in to his papa bat. Till then Vlad will have fun teasing the little monkey with Bara hugs and tail squeezes.
