a tiny doodle of the 4 remnants and their majority cultures
i just wanted to actually get some architectural deets and color palates against one another to compare
Fun deets!
The prayerman house is divded into two sections. the upper floor is accessible only by the ramp and is for the ladies; the bottom is for gents. the majority prayerman culture enforces a serious seperation of sexes. the thing to the right of the bottom door is a shrine for guests and travelers. attached is a shrine hut. they have a water for ritual ablution and other ceremonies. classy! also blue sky, gold sun
The birddemon has a lonely manor on the edge of an island! Since the birddemon remnant is a collection of random islands having this much space to yourself is a luxury! Birddemon houses (talking majority culture again) like random organic growths with bay windows and lots of colors and second-floor patios and window gardens and private gardens and stuff. How fairytale! seafoam-green sky and yellow sun + a moon that chases the sun
This tombdog guy has a nice dome house at the edge of an artificial hill (tombdogs build towns on dog-made hills to keep the ground-water out; they also have the best plumbing technology of every remnant combined) There's an attached family-shrine building (it's becoming the style over distant, hidden crypts like what used to be vogue) and a corpse-shrine outside keeping an eye out on the place! the sky is always gray even when there's no clouds and the sun is solid white
this lifelizard is in front of a whole city carved into a mountain! it's a vertical maze to navigate and the place is super, super old! whoa! check out the library and governmental palace in the middle and back! nice digs! the sky is always a shade of red or pink and the sun is red!
dang! i can't wait to vacation to them all

I like the lizard remnant! I never drew their jungle but they have jungles and grassed plains too it isn't steep mesas 24/7
look you just have to make sure to not fall off the island is all. or a boat, if you're going from island to island. you shouldn't really be doing either of those, so you should be good!
the grey sky is super relaxing ok. it can be bright gray sometimes!

the remnants are separate continents+water plopped down into the a shared ocean

passing over the ocean borders of one remnant replaces the sky, weather, and time of day with the next remnant's
also the birddemon archipelago is fractured and each island holds an inconsistent biome and time-zone with its neighbors, so you can sail an hour and watch the sun jump around in the sky a bunch

that was there when all the other remnants already got there
it's a mountain that grows up into a tower
it's hollow and a giant palace basically
the 4 remnants use it as central trading point. the Merchant-Emperor and the council of seasons oversee the political and economic relations between the remnants
the current merchant-emperor is a prayerman and has been for a few generations. the council of seasons is made of 4 chambers with each remnant staffing one with their own pick of people. the island has a full 4 seasons and on each season one of the chambers gets an extra vote factor.
