Gem and I don't know any words yet, but we don't need to know words to play happily together. Our moms plunk us down in the playpen together, and away we go. Neither one of is sure what these colorful things over here are for, but we discover that they stack up pretty well.A few days ago I made a comment somewhere that I'm not very good at consistently drawing characters the same way every time, so I decided to challenge myself. This mini story is based on something I would seriously love to really do, play without using, or needing to use, any real words at all. Also Sammy has been having a lot of stress lately, and I wanted to do something that I hope will help her be happier.

AbbeyJunction's arms lowering Gem down into the playpen, and I'm being set down by my fictional mother character, whose name is Jill and who is a Blanc de Hotot rabbit. So far this is the only part of her that has shown up in a drawing.Gem and Grub belong to

I considered drawing you in the background running by playing with a toy plane and making "Vrrrrrmmmmm" noises in one panel, but it had already taken me a long time, and to do that I would have had to draw actual playpen walls, which meant I would have had to draw more of our moms putting us in the playpen in the first frame ... it would have changed too much.

fankyoo fankyoo millions Jennie. This is really super awesome (and not the sketchiest of backgrounds LOL) Its weird in real life i have such a trouble babytalking it makes me all embarrassed if i know someone else is listening but when im by myself its something i really like to do LOL weird arent I. I get really blushy when people babytalk at me too I dunno why it just makes me go all very shy this is really lovely makes me feel floaty light
That one time I was on a TV show they wanted me to talk babytalk and I couldn't do it on demand; I was too embarrassed. So that didn't go in the show. I don't see how it's weird at all that you get too embarrassed in front of others. I haven't had people babytalk at me (not anytime recently anyway) so I don't know how I react to that.
Anyway ... part of why I drew this was to help make you happy so I'm super happy to hear that you like it -- super awesome and floaty light sound like very good fings to me! ^_^ *hugs*
