Two non-Pokemon stories in a row? What madness is this?!
I first got the idea for this a long time ago, way back during a random stream discussion about fat dragons and rings, which in turn had been brought about by a certain scene from The Dawn Treader. As usual, it sat around getting unused for a long time because I keep getting distracted by other story ideas. Pretty much just a generic medieval D&D-type fantasy setting with thief adventurer stuff and predictable traps.
The character ends up naked but there isn't really anything explicit mentioned. I've been neglecting nipples lately.
I totally didn't draw the main character's name from Dark Souls.
First actual normal length snippet in quite a while.

Oh, pff, I didn't even think of the connection with the covetous gold serpent ring; I mostly just used that for the design of the ring because it seemed appropriate, and since I didn't want it to be a generic gold band like any other ring, or one with eldritch runes like the one ring. Not that it wouldn't be too unfitting anyway considering the in-game description of being associated with gluttony. >:x
I was debating the dragon's motivation for having this convenient dragon-blob-TF ring hidden in its hoard when I decided to have the story go until Priscilla met it instead of just cutting after she realized she was trapped; one possibility was that it wanted to have a companion but I eventually decided to go with this jaded, no-nonsense, almost snarky characterization that just wants to punish anyone who disturbs it. It's hard to say how things might go in the future, but generally speaking I don't consider myself very good at romance.
