Topaz stomped her hoof and snorted at Lauren. "I'm not doing it!"

"Yes, you are! You're still under punishment for misappropriating the equine amulet, and this is what transformees have to do until their service is up. Now be a good birthday pony and behave!" Lauren held the leash to Topaz's bridle in her hand as she brought the 'pony' to the birthday party.

"Pony!" Yuki cried, running up to her with an apple.

Jackie, the birthday boy, giggled in glee as he hurried up next to Yuki wearing his party hat. "Is she for me?"

Lauren leaned down and picked him up. "Just for the day. Her name is Twilight Sparkle."

Topaz turned to whisper so only Lauren could hear. "I'm going to get you for that."

"Eat your apple, hon." She took the apple from Yuki and shoved it in Topaz's mouth. Setting Jackie on 'Twilight's' back, she slapped her on the butt. "Giddy up, pony!"

Topaz spat it back into her hand. "That's enough! I'll be a good party horse, but I will not be called 'pony'. I am a lady, and I wish to be addressed as such! You may call me Twilight, or miss, or Miss Twilight."

Lauren put her hands on her hips. "Quit your whining."

"Whining? I am NOT whining. I am complaining. This is whining! This kid is so heavy! Can't he stop bouncing? I think he's digging into my sides! Why do I have to do this?"

"Ponies." Lauren sighed. "Yuki, you get to go next."
