Okay, that explains the German text from one of the previous pages.
Makes one wonder how long that went on :|
Also you're away from your usual computer? Any reason one can asks about? In anyways, for something sketchy done on bamboo it's actually rather decent.
(oh, btw, since we'd had some discussions regarding feminism in the past, hit me up on AIM if you can. I found something hilarious you might like especially with how it shines light in an amusing way over certain habits of a certain industry :) )

Regarding Artemis, what's her exact relation to Hector? She was originally described as a familiar, I think, but when rescuing her he called her "mother", which is doubly weird since Hector was originally a minotaur. Is this something that gets explained later, or have I missed/misinterpreted something?
This isn't quite spoilerrific but basically Hector has Adopted Artemis as such. It was touched on in the story where he went to visit Tim here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10802359/ Hector Adopts people into his own surrogate family as a way of justifying his connection with them on a deeper level. He views her as a motherly figure and more or less during that arc he was out of his head a bit with anger so he was saying things he wouldn't have normally. He doesn't usually vocalize how he views his realtions to other people. He sees Silver as little brother, Artemis as his Mother and Fox as a surrogate Sister.
For those wondering, it seems to correlate to this older picture of Three that Gen did a while back: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4986408/
Also, for the record, I was a little purposely vague on the enzyme thing when I described what happened even though that element was in play. At the time I was a bit secretive about it because I was having people nitpick the character details and didn't want to give them another element to do such with. Fox just gave me an opportunity to introduce it in a cool way :)
That is the thing with 'science' fiction, some people begin to forget that it is fiction and therefore the 'rules' as we know them do not apply except as maybe a vague term of reference to build from or just a thing to throw out the window before starting. Why people feel the need to try to scientifically nitpick fictional concepts just because they do not like them is somewhat frustrating. If an author says it was an 'enzyme' like thing but not exactly or an antibody like thing but not quite as we know it, that should suffice.... it is just a convenient way to give the reader a term of reference in their mind as they read a story.
Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox/pulpit now....

Hmmm... again we see some of the the dualness (or polarness) of Silver.... He is the cheerful creator /modifier of a pathogen that can kill in a painful and debilitating way but is also a compassionate medic who is still horrified that someone would beat to death the man who tormented them mercilessly for eight years.....
In Artemis we see another example of the type of resilient internal resolve that has allowed her to not just survive but to become a person of very strong moral strength... someone who has had to kill more than once but has not allowed regret to handicap her ability to do it again as needed or to get a sense of enjoyment/strength/superiority out of it either... she may regret that it had to happen but at the same time knows that some individuals actions mean that this type of action is required to stop them perpetuating their evil.... the look on her face and her words do not say pride or victory or vengeance, just a weary acknowledgement of bad events in a life that has had its share of them.....
