Hal is making sure to keep Dex-Starr under a very close watch. They may have formed a truce for the time being, but he's not gonna let his guard down for a minute while this ferocious Red Lantern is around.
These costumes were both sewn up by me. (my partner is dressed as Hal Jordan while I'm dressed as Dex-Starr) The Dex-Starr took a little less than a year to complete, but this was mostly because I didn't continuously work to complete him until a few months ago. He was originally just going to be a partial costume without the feline bodysuit. He does indeed have a large shiny red ring on his tail, but it's not visible in this picture. Hal was a much easier costume to make and only took about a week to complete. They were both worn on the first day of the Armageddon Expo in Wellington this year.
