Second to last dossier file on the Semper Fi. Former Scorpio sign, Scorpius. He hasn't changed that much. His backstory altered - from a pirate-like adventurer, he became a former member of the Roman legion (and the second member after Lambert to be plucked -har-har- from his time). With that came the necessary change from bald to golden eagle.
He's mostly Nigerfur's pet now, I merely provided the physical design and basic idea, but she... how did she put it... keeps wrapping her gropey appendages around his... charming personality and soon, he'll end up being hers and hers alone. In other words, she gets to write most of him.
Scorp's the team's librarian, fascinated with history and passing of time. Having former military exercise plus sharp eye, he quickly filled the position of the sniper on Vartan's force.
He also collects tropical fish.
Which Lothar snacks on whenever he's not looking.

Can't believe no one's commented on this! That head and feet are great; fantastic plausible anthro design for the latter.
My one concern would be in bicep and ankle. It almost looks like it's giving way to skin, as if it's an eagle transformation or something. The lines on the musculature could, of course, be broken up by feather shapes as on the pectorals; maybe the white/yellow could be more interspersed throughout the scales.
To be honest, though, I don't think you have to change anything. It's probably just my brain's abnormal conditioning to transformation images that makes that reading of this picture even possible. XD

Thank you! While I had lots of experience drawing him already (he's all over the first issue), this is actually the first time ever I see him in color. I'll keep in mind to pick some more greyish/whitish/yellowish tones for the feet and forearms.
I had a line up on the bicep, but someone pointed out to me that unless Scorp has a tumor on his arm, there shouldn't be any disturbance of the feather layer, since he's not that muscular and the feathers on the arms and legs should be sleek and smooth, opposed to the sort-of-puffed-uppines of the chest and neck area. But I'll try to find a happy medium.
Thanks!
