A carnival of colours and styles to grace a bright birthday table from the kitchens of

yay, been a while since this I dunno why I never posted it, my girlfriend and I wanted to do something really nerdy for her birthday party last summer, after struggling for many possibilities, we finally came up with that Idea being Legend Of Zelda Ocarina of Time Tards.
we did with fondant and a basic muffin recipe and colorants and we used cake icing to stick the fondant on the cupcake.
Recipe¸: you can use any white cupcake recipe you might like,
here is one you can use, it's really easy:

for the coloring, just add the food coloring in the batter before cooking it, you will need 6 different color so make sure you have enough bather.
for the top of the cupcake, we used Fondant we dyed it with the same color as the fitting cupcake.
all cup cake used the same batter, I just add a bit cinnamon in the fire medallion to spice the thing up :P be free to add whatever flavor you feel like, will give a unique personality to your different cupcake.
Ingredients
1-1/2cups(375 mL)all purpose flour
1cup(250 mL) granulated sugar
1-1/2tsp(7 mL) baking powder
1/4tsp(1 mL) salt
1/2cup(125 mL) butter, softened
1 cup (250 mL) milk
2 eggs
1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla
Preparation
In large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Using electric mixer on low speed, mix in butter, milk, eggs and vanilla; beat on high speed until smooth, about 2 minutes.
Spoon into 12 paper-lined or greased muffin cups, filling about three-quarters full. Bake in centre of 375°F (190°C) oven until cake tester inserted in centre comes out clean, about 18 minutes. Transfer to rack; let cool completely. (Make-ahead: Store in airtight container for up to 1 day or freeze for up to 2 weeks.)
Variation
Chocolate Cupcakes: Reduce flour to 1 cup (250 mL) and baking powder to 1/2 tsp (2 mL). Add 1/2 cup (125 mL) cocoa powder and 1 tsp (5 mL) baking soda to dry ingredients. Sift before adding butter and wet ingredients.
