..... that welding mask picture just made me chuckle so damn much for some reason. Then again it's 5h54am as I'm preparing myself "nice breakfast" before leaving at 7h15am for work.

Also, Hector just look so "meh" at the blood he coughed out. Then again nothing's new for him at his age I bet.

That middle panel of Hector's hand gave me the mental image of Hector going all loopy from his illnesses and starting to hallucinate that his hand is talking, like when you move your thumb to make it look like a talking mouth.

Yup, booze....just what you need when you are seeing double and coughing up blood and phlegm... Hector you are a doctor's nightmare.

As for Spikes metalwork gear, while the mask is probably custom built, I suspect the blowtorch may be a jeweller's micro-torch....had one I used for on the spot surface-mount rewetting and other small fiddly tasks....very handy...and for that matter very sought after as it was one of the first tools that was nicked from my kit when I was on secondment to a 'dodgy' location.
