And now to introduce the other main character of this crossover story, Sly Cooper :D
I'm sure a lot of people out there don't know much about his story, but he's essentially a world famous thief from a family with along legacy of thievery. He also has two friend, Murray and Bentley, to help him on his travels. However, he's the last Cooper due to a villain known as Clockwerk killing the rest of his family.
In the first game you get to take revenge on Clockwerk and destroy him, but in the second game he gets reconstructed and a traitor with the police known as Neyla merged with his body to take over, but you once again defeat the new villain known as Clock-La, but this time at a price. Upon removing the main chip that kept the cyborg alive, Bentley got chomped by its beak and essentially had his legs get crippled in the process.
I decided to have the crossover take place after the second game but before the third game since is proved to have the best window of opportunity to put Sally in and have her own adventure with Sly, that would be its own adventure and even help transition into the third game. You can consider it Sly Cooper 2.5 timeline wise :D
So anywho, here's part 4 of the collaboration comic between
Waimbert and myself, in which he does the outlines and I do the rest :3

Wow, things are getting really interesting for hero now. The Sly Cooper series have always seem to rely on technology to explain some of the extraordinary things that goes on there, but with the present of the chaos emerald which is magic I wonder how this will effect their world?
Ah... So were just after Sly 2. Not to downplay what happened to Bentley after two (and especially after 4 *suppresses flashback, and urge to kill*), but he came back, stronger than ever. He's easily my favorite character.
Dr M. w/ an emerald... hm. That alone has possibilities.

Another option would of to set it during the time period between Sly 3 and Sly 4 but this is a pretty good choice as well. Though the idea of Dr. M with a Chaos Emerald is a VERY scary thought. Things are not going to end well... but I am glad Sly and Carmelita finally get together at the end of the third game. However, I don't like how she was presented in the fourth game, she was turned from badass chick with a strong personality and an even stronger grip on her shock pistol into a sexualized damsel-in-distress

Actually, if you do it in Sly 3.5.. it would of been Sly and Carm only because Betley was in his lab with his traitor of a GF and Murry is off doing his thing. The Guru was back in Aussie, Dimitri was running his own cruse line, the Panda King was in china with his daughter.
as for Sly 4, yeah, I don't like Murry, they messed with him a little too much and I think they tried to make him have a cross-dressing fetish... Bentley was the same a little, Sly was Sly, Other then that, I think the company did a good job at the game considering they were working with characters they did not own or originally create.

GF? What are you talking about? And well, my other problem with Sly4's Carma is her outfit. Her outsite for the past three games looked the same but in the fourth game, it was more reveling.
And yes, I understand that GB, still, this is going to be a very interesting comic. How many pages is it going to be?

Oh yeah, and obviously couldn't use Dr M for this comic if I made it 3.5, and I deemed him the best villain to use for it XD

Hm how many pages is a good question. I had the whole thing planned out from the start, but have since edited and added to it, so it's gotten longer and then shorter as time goes on lol. Chances are it will be around the size of the Skullgirls collab, give or take.

I understand it's backstory for the audience's sake, but honestly I felt like the informations Sly lays on us in panels 2 and 3 is really clunky. If he's talking to me he's breaking the 4th wall which isn't one of Sly's moves in the second or third game and if he's talking to himself why would he go into such great detail. He already knows that stuff. But other than that I'm enjoying the comic so far.
I see. I still found it distracting, but maybe it's just me. I watch too much CinemaSins and now I notice every little mistake, cliche, trope and anything else that breaks my suspension of disbelief. Anyway it's still a good comic (I'm up to page 13 and going) I just thought I'd let you know.
