This is my current rescue dog from romania! At 8 months old all he knew was that men would beat him and they would take his food away! ;~;
He's so nervous of guys because of this and his previous foster told us he was cat aggressive (load of bull) and couldn't look after him. So now i have him. (luckily he was only there for a few days)
The real Problem was he wasn't house trained but day 2 and hes already doing really well! Hes also very relaxed compared to the stressed out pooch i got through my door and its amazing what being calm can do to ease a dogs worries!
Thankfully that fosterer is no longer going to be used as there was worries that her young boy might have been slapping him about also! So he was quickly collected and brought to me!
It amazing how seemingly nice enough people can turn like that or have no control over their kids!! But at least hes finally safe now and the woman blacklisted from us and connected rescues! I think she was expecting a fully trained police dog or something! And just liked the idea of being able to say she was helping animals in need >:C
(lol the dog just slid off the couch hahahaha)
I think i'll post up my other rescue doggies too! If you're in the UK Please think about adoption! I volunteer for this rescue (and fixed up the website for them it was HORRENDOUS BEFORE)

the rescue i work with takes in some seriously damaged dogs and is a foster only rescue so none of the dogs are in kennels!
Its great because we can tell people more about what the dog will be like in a real home too! But one day if i'm successful i'll open my own cosy kennels for more doggies like these! So many get missed because the rescue has limited homes :C
I've had some really heart breakingly frightened dogs with me and seeing them go from that to dogs who just want to love you gives you serious happies!
And he is so very very sweet! For a dog that's been beaten all his life he has been so quick to turn around and wag his tail! (it must have been the slice of ham he got XD)

Its pure luck i tell you! PURE LUCK! Though Hooch has ripped holes into my memory foam topper that was on the floor last night (but jamie left it lying there not me so i cant get in trouble!!!)
Its a swiss cheese cosplay!
I have ripped bits of newspaper all over my floor but i no longer have a terrified puppy! Hes much more normal now! Saw a gorgeous pure bred boxer on a walk today! Though Naughty Hooch didnt come back when called!!!
I apologised and gave the dog a treat though XD Didn't see them coming because of some bushes so im glad they weren't mad D: Pure bred boxers are HUGE! And so sofffft!
