First off, thank you! When I drew this no I wasn't using any refs just going by memory. Best tip I can give is figure out what head shape you like the best. For me I try to go with something tiger/lion like, find good refs of faces where you can clearly see the head form. Also check out other feline artist, sometimes it's easier to study. Other wise just keep on drawing, and good luck :3
