As i'm tied-up getting some commissions done i thought i would post some stuff from my dA gallery this week - some fractals, fantasy art, op-art, fine-art, illustrations etc....i'll move all non-anthro art to my scaps in a few days after posting....sorry for delay on new anthro pics...soon.......and another pin-up sort of thingy for tonight...
Like the Ororo peice, this was just joking with a character's sexiness.
Lum from the manga and anime Urusai Yatsura was the slightly ditzy but devoted alien princess bride to stupid lecherous earth kid Ataru...Lum's devotion eventually won you over that maybe there was something good in Ataru...
The "Beautiful Dreamer" movie is a must see...surreal scenes, and all that, and a crucial scene where the dream Lum tells Ataru what really makes sense...
No disrespect to Takahashi intended here at all. She is my favorite comic book artist, and she played with Lum's sexuality throughout the series...

AFAIK all the episodes are up on youtube, possibly the OAVs as well.
Here's general info for anyone interested:

And an episode guide! :

The UY episode that had me hooked was "Pitter Patter Christmas Eve"...a mix of slapstick comedy and touching emotional scenes. Loved Lum every since.
I live near a large Chinatown area and attended a few local comic book conventions where some bootleg Japanese anime DVDs or fansubs were sold with crummy English subtitles (but understandable) at cut-rate prices. When Viz Video released Ranma and Maison Ikkoku on legit DVDs, I completed viewing both series to the end.
I was lucky to land a lucrative full-time job that lasted more that 12 years at that time to afford to purchase those legit DVD and VHS volumes.
