Someone had asked for a patch of scales as a pendant, so I set about solving a problem. The thing is, a simple little patch of scales on its own, when hanging, will try to curl inwards around towards the back. This person didn't want that.

My solution was to attach 2 identical patches back-to-back. There are connections across between every single scale and its mirror image on the reverse side. (Everything ends up being pretty nicely hidden, so sorry you can't really see anything interesting in this photo.)

Anyway, the person who asked for this actually asked for a multi-colored one, but this one was just a test for me to figure out if it would work. So I'll probably be making another one shortly.
