The Court of Lust: Shadow's Creation

50 years before the outbreak of the Lust Virus, Shadow the Hedgehog was created on board the ARK as part of a project researching the combat against diseases, such as the one that plagued Maria, the grand-daughter of Dr. Gerald Robotnik. Shadow was treated as a son to Gerald, and he and Maria got along so well.

It broke Shadow's heart when a virus outbreak killed most of the crew onboard the ARK, and Shadow was the only one capable of leaving the ARK to head down to Mobius and try and live his life and help others, just as Maria had wanted.
