Ah yes, the Atlas.
When Mechassault came out, I had made a game for others to play called David and Goliath, where one person would be an atlas, and the other 7 people would be elementals with the goal of taking out the atlas. Unlimited lives of course because an atlas could easily destroy the elementals. Was a lot of fun!

So many versions of this out ther.... I started playing the original dice version of this game almost 30 years ago.... Gods, that shows how old I am! lol Main trouble with jumpjets on an assalt mech is the heat! you sacrifice almost all your free space to heat sinks. Equip lots of short range weapons and an ax.... one bad ass deadly jumpy atlas
