The Fate Of Destruction...
Is also the Joy of Rebirth.

Freude.
FREUDE!
Joy, bright spark of divinity,
Daughter of Elysium,
Fire-inspired we tread
Thy sanctuary.
Thy magic power re-unites
All that custom has divided,
All men become brothers
Under the sway of thy gentle wings.
Whoever has created
An abiding friendship,
Or has won
A true and loving wife,
All who can call at least one soul theirs,
Join in our song of praise;
But any who cannot must creep tearfully
Away from our circle.
All creatures drink of joy
At nature's breast.
Just and unjust
Alike taste of her gift;
She gave us kisses and the fruit of the vine,
A tried friend to the end.
Even the worm can feel contentment,
And the cherub stands before God!

First of all, Ode to Joy has NOTHING to do with Jesus. I don't even know how you get that idea.
Secondly, what song I was referring to was Come Sweet Death. Its about Jesus Passion, Death and Ascendency. Its a rather positive sounding song.
Cue Hideaki Anno setting the end of the world to it.

I was talking about the second part then and not Ode to Joy. For example, the Hallelujah Chorus could be viewed differently by a culture who perceive Christianity as something that threatens that culture. Native Americans could associate Christianity with the colonists who did eventually destroy their world.
I am not saying Jesus and your relegion is bad, but people have abused it.
FYI people did try to push relegion onto the Japanese at one point which did threaten their way of life.

And I am saying that I find it extremly weird that you suddenly pull this discussion right out of nowhere.
I talk about misinterpreting music, like Ode to Joy and you suddenly start going on and on about how people abused religion to be dicks to each other, like thats any news or interests me when I try to make a jokeful half hearted comment to my pet here.
