To think of it; I do not remember seeing female lions around there. But I don't go to the zoo often.

Right now, the Denver Zoo has three groups of lions in rotates around the different yards. The three lion cubs is one group, but they're going away soon. :( The second group is a small pride, one female (it was two females, but one died recently) and two males. Then the third group is a the coalition of the two brothers, you have pictured.
