She did a fabulous job and I really love all the colors and emotions in this piece. When she posted the YCH of the two chars dancing, I just knew that it would be something beautiful and I really love to dance. So it makes me really happy to have this. Hope that you like it too!

So, a friend of mine wrote a story with one of his commission submissions. I liked the thought so much and I've done it once before that I though that I'd try it again.

The sun was low in the sky casting long shadows from the trees and streetlights. It was late afternoon and a lone figure was sitting on a park bench. Long ears and a tufted tail would give away his species as a rabbit. His light blue eyes would scan the street and then glance back down to his phone. He seemed to have all the time in the world.

It wasn't long before a cobalt-colored figure came walking up to him. Her cloven hooves clicked lightly on the pavement. Her steps were a little slow as though her energy was gone. It had been a long, hard day. Those golden eyes lit up when she saw the rabbit waiting for her. Her steps quickened with life. Her heart beat just a little faster as a smile curved her lips. "Hey Kawanii," she greeted him and wrapped her arms about his neck.

"Hi darling," he returned with a grin and wrapped his arms about her waist as she bent over him. His hands were gentle as they rubbed the small of her back. "Tell me how your day has been."

She heaved a sigh. "It's been a long one." Her lashes lowered over her eyes as she recalled some of the events of the day. She seemed tired again but it was fleeting as she looked into his face with the beginnings of a smile. "But.... it's much better now that I'm with you."

"Is that so?" He asked with a chuckle and set her back onto her hooves gently so that he could stand. "Well, that's funny cause mine is better too. Imagine that." He offered her his arm, which she happily hooked her hand into. "Walk with me, babe."

She smiled and fell into step with him as they walked beneath the trees. She glanced up at the branches seeing the leaves and the squirrels at play high in the branches. Each moment in his presence just seemed to erase a little more of her stress from the day and leave it warm and glowing with love instead. She could feel herself practically floating as she walked next to her lover.

They reached the top of a small hill. All was quiet in the park at this time of the day. The sun was just about to slip beyond the horizon when he turned to his alicorn with a smirk on his lips. "I bet that you don't know what today is."

She raised an eyebrow and tilted her head as she peered into his face curiously. "Besides it being Friday? I'm not sure but I bet that you'll tell me."

"Oh, you'd make some money on that bet, Ixxi." He chuckled and slowed their pace to a stop as he turned toward her. He leaned over and dropped his voice to a hush as if it were some great secret to be shared between just the two of them. "Today is the day that I fall even more in love with you."

She felt her heart flutter in her chest like some teenager in the presence of her first crush. Kawanii did that to her though. He made her feel like the most precious thing in the world to him. They were just meant to be together with the way they complimented one another even if they were different species. The heart is blind to things like that.

When he took her waist and arm guiding her into a slow dance with him, her soul was just filled with warmth and happiness. The light of her joy showed within her eyes. Her golden irises were sparkling. It was so easy to dance with him. She ran her hand over his strong chest feeling both desire and love swirl within her being.

He sang to her a love song and she could only smile as she thought of how lucky that she was. The sun blazed behind them setting the sky on fire in warm colors like orange, pink and red. Night was not to be denied though as a few stars began winking into sight. It was like a dream and they were they only furres for miles around.

She couldn't resist him nor her urges any longer. She leaned closer to him and pressed her lips to his own in a sweet kiss. Her heartbeat sounded in her ears with her excitement and happiness. What a beautiful way to end this day and their night was just beginning.

When they parted lips to take a breath, she looked up to him as she tried to catch her breath. "I love you, Kawanii."

He smiled to her, "I love you too, Ixxi."
