Was browsing wikipedia for inspiring feliforms and I found this! It's African Civet, a single remaining species of its genus. This creature looks so amazing! It's like a catsized hyena with wildcat markings, amaziiing!!
Might make a character based on this species sometime in the future, or more like will when I think up a good role for one~ :DDD

Well your example picture is entirely different from the pic I saw, I saw this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped.....civetta_11.jpg
To me the faceshape looks more hyenaish + the spikey fur at the back of the animal, but obviously the face markings match with raccon-like things, but I'm more coinsidered of shapes than markings when I compare animals at first X)
