This was a photo for an assignment in photography class. The class had to submit a black and white photo and this I what I came up with.

No, I did not kill the bird, my step-mom's cat did. I was visiting at her house awhile back and I walked into the kitchen and saw her cat holding a bird in her mouth. It was still alive at the time and I tried to save it, but the bird coughed up some blood and died in my hands. Despite the tragic event, I saw it as an opportunity to get a detailed black and white photo for class.
