My first attempt at a fursuit. Arttimo took just under three weeks to create out of foam, faux fur, Crayola model magic, and a whole lot of hot glue. He's going to get some new antlers in the coming months, resin cast from real ones by a friend of mine. The current ones are made of Crayola model magic over a wire mesh frame. One is cracked, but they're holding up okay for now.
He has follow-me eyes I'm really happy with, also made of model magic. I molded them over a big bouncy ball to get the curve, then painted them with acrylics and sealed them with gloss. They follow pretty well, and I was certain I was going to botch something on my first try and make him all derpy, but nope! Success, yay! Unfortunately, I'm going to have to rework part of the jaw area to allow it to move better with my own, as that didn't come out quite as intended. I have a plan after seeing some tutorials, and if I do it right, none of the alterations should be apparent on the outside.
He has kind of a goofy face... a big ol' snout and a tiny little nose. Beep! :3 I like how he turned out and I hope to build his character by wearing him to lots of meets!
