My Tina Bear is so awesome that I couldn't help but share a most special gift she found for me as a belated, Star Day present!
This is a "Special Edition" Derpy Hooves / Ditzy-Doo / Bubbles card that was not a natural part of the Series 1: MLP: FiM card set! I never got to see it before and I love it!
What do I love most about this, besides my wife worked really hard to get it, is that Derpy's face is kind of like how I imagine most folks would get to know me IRL. Just a super-spirited, yet really goofy-eyed, individual who likes to do all he can to overcome what life's deck of cards has dealt him.
Since getting this card, I am going to eBay off my Gold Series cards I got as, truly, I have no need for them. So, if anyone is looking for a Gold Series "Princess Celestia" or "Queen Chrysalis", definitely let me know or look for them up on eBay.
Here's to Derpy and Series 2 of pony cards coming out here in April! Woop!
TO MY TINA BEAR:
Thank you for rekindling a lost passion of mine through something I bond with as an aspiring, children's writer. I used to feel, due to my loss in vision, card collecting was no longer for me. However, thanks to you, I am so excited to be back and can't wait to get the COMMON Queen Chrysalis I need to finish the set. *Schmubby-Wubby* I love you.

Awww she always looks so happy! ^^
Anyway, I'm glad to hear that you're having fun collecting the MLP cards - it's not a hobby I ever got into so please bear with me for a moment because I'm a bit confused: do your gold series cards not count as part of the collection?

That's a good question, Kaffre.
Actually, with some card sets, they have what is known as the "BASE SET" with randomly inserted "SUBSETS".
At this time, I only need "Queen Chrysalis"' BASE SET card to finish the 84 card, standard set of cards.
However, I also managed to get all 13 Special Foil cards that coincide with the Base Set. Not every card has a foil, so this is a subset.
Then there are the Extra Special subsets for the Royal Wedding and Elements of Harmony. They each form pictures when complete and are harder to get than a foil card based on a base set card.
Lastly, you have the Special Editions and Gold Series. Gold Series cards cost, at minimum, $30! There are 8 in total and it would cost me nearly $100 to get just 6 cards. Thus, easier to sell them than to try and finish them.
But, long story short, the Gold Cards are a part of the collection. Just not a part I'm interested in investing in. :)

Derpy is, as they say, Derpilicious! :)
Though, seriously, my eyes in real life are VERY messed up and, like Derpy in "The Last Roundup", I do my best despite my visual issues. I may not get it right and may be sizably, socially awkward. However, being Derpy doesn't mean your dumb. Means you do your best with what life gives you and feel confident and happy as can be! :)

Well, then, fellow Derpy. Let us celebrate in the fun that is a character who, despite all odds, makes things awesome!
My real self is really a strong combo of Spke and Derpy. Especially after the day at work I had today. Kazootles!
Thinking of going to any Pony conventions? Do you have, or collect, any pony related items?

It's tough being a Brony. Especially as, like you said, they are often rare and far between. However, for a sub-culture, I like what it is all about. :)
Do you like to watch ponies? Do you know any other Bronies that are fun to talk to?
It's kind of fun to add, in my case, I'm not only a Brony, but visually impaired AND a Babyfur / Diaperfur. Big wins for society all around. :) <LoL!>

Well, sometimes i see some pony videos, but a iam not like a talking guy (well, sometimes)
but the thing is sometimes i meet some bronies on internet, but i am not to sure to meet some bronies (on real life) because maybe someone thinks i am crazy or i got a problem, no offense, sorry

Crazy or have a problem? Why would anyone ever think that of you? (If you are not comfortable in answering, you don't have to)
I'm happy being a Brony as it mixes well with the caring and loving I enjoy from being a babyfur / diaperfur. It took me a LONG time to accept such parts of myself. However, since I have, my life has gotten 100x better.
Last night, I found a Pony Video made by some fans that really touched me. It's in my most recent journal if you care to watch. My eyes pretty much look like Snowdrop's, which is both creepy and nice at the same time as it is awkward going around with messed up eyes everyone can see and I can barely see through.
