He gets decent grades, runs on the track team, and is a bit into manga and anime. Otherwise, he's not one to stand out all that much.

However he does have one secret that puts him in a unique circle. In his free time at home, he likes to dress like a raccoon. In the past year, he has finished his ultimate expression of his passion: a racccoon fursuit sleeper of what he considers to be his spiritual animal. When wearing his suit, he even finds himself acting like a raccoon, pilfering food from the cabinet instead of eating a proper meal, and making a nest of his bedsheets. All to the grief of his accepting (but slowing going mad) mother.

At school, the ultimate test is slowly approaching. There's going to be a costume party, and he's gonna wear his raccoon suit in public. Going to a party on its own is an achievement in itself for him, let alone opening himself up for the ridicule of his entire class.

But something's been telling him that he won't be alone. That there might be others that have similar animal and cosplaying interests. Perhaps a certain Fox, Bear, and Dragoness will give him the kind of friendship he's always been wanting. Or maybe he'll just embarrass himself. >3
