caribou and the colors by 
hbruton so there are a lot of hugs to go around!
On Friday of the con, shortly after the Dealer's Den opened, I made my way to Heather's table eager to show her the picture of me and my little girl that I'd brought. She said, "I have something for you too" and handed me this. Fulminar was standing right there at the time so he got to see how utterly blown away I was by this and how giddy I quickly became. I hugged Fulminar randomly for the next fifteen minutes and gave Heather a good one too. Caribou, I am totally going to give you a big hug when I see you at Anthrocon in a few months!!
As this is an original watercolor (I think it was watercolors) this will be framed and hung somewhere nice in my home. Kim loved it when she saw it and even suggested a place where it can be prominently displayed. I'm sure my family will wonder about it but I'm sure they'll eventually learn about my fursuit too.

I remember the old days when I once got gift art from people. Such an exciting feeling. That's so nice of Fulminar to get that for you. Very pretty picture. I'm sure it's significance strikes more deeply with you though. ^^
I thought what you mentioned above about your family was funny. I guess saying your a furry isn't exactly a first conversation starter. No worries though. I'm sure next to converting to Catholicism it won't seam like a big deal.... Hmmmm, or not. lol. XD

And yes, it definitely one of the most wonderful furry gifts I have received in a long time.
Oh, if my family had an inkling of the kind of things that go on in the fandom they would be quite uncomfortable with me being a part of it. And I don't blame them at all.
