well, he *was* something of a highly trained special unit for their military's equivalent of the SAD, specializing in target kills. But since the conclusion of a war (which has ended before the story starts), he has found himself recruited by a very peculiar man named Richard Banyay to do basically to same kind of work, but...unlawfully.
