I'm so flattered that you'd want this as your wallpaper!
I don't feel comfortable publicly posting a higher res file but if you're still interested I could send you a private link via dropbox for a larger copy. You'd have to crop to fit the correct dimensions though. FYI the larger copy isn't very detailed either lol.

Is this piece possibly inspired by the movie Fern Gully? It's alot like one of the scenes in it, but then again with the Yggdrasil tree and so many other tree of life ideas, I wouldn't be surprised if it was just your own interpretation sort of thing. Either way a REALLY wonderful and beautiful piece, just thought I'd ask instead of just complimenting cause I was curious. > w<
The tree was actually inspired by a dogwood tree that was in my backyard. It was growing underneath several pine trees which cause it to take on a bit of a peculiar shape since it was reaching for what limited light there was. Looking at it now it does look a little reminiscent of that scene lol.
Ah, I see, I love childhood things like that, something that was different enough that it inspires something beautiful like this. :3
Yeah, my friend was saying that you may have made it similar to that scene subconsciously or without even realizing it. It was a really beautiful scene, and a lot of paintings and show/movie scenes like including forests with balls of light moving throughout the trees, it tends to create a very visually appealing combination of colours. Never the less, you did an amazing job with this, and I love hearing your main inspiration was a tree your remembered in your backyard! o uo
