i fucking hate the internet now it's just endless oceans of slop. the same formula for short form content, the exact same comments on every video ever, etc. if someone makes something RESEMBLING original bona fide content, everyone flocks to it like vultures with "mythical algorithm pull" comments, and then it just becomes a trend. what the fuck. when my friends make me watch instagram reels with them it takes only 3 seconds to drive me homocidal, i don't know how they handle it. this site is absolutely an exception though. from what i can TELL and this seems very obvious to me even though i wasn't an avid internet user then as i am now, the internet before was an adventureland, before it boiled down to the addicting and algorithm based thing it is now. maybe the next trend should be everyone leaving the internet and whatever happens happens
