Welcome to Transpositive, a group about positivity towards transgender and nonbinary people!
What is this?
Transpositive is a marker for members of FA to use in order to show their support for trans and nonbinary people. Because of today's climate, trans/NB people should have the right to know the people they can trust most.
What is your aim?
Transpositive aims to make the furry community a safer place for trans/NB people by keeping them informed and aware. Trans/NB people very often experience forms of discrimination because of their gender identity and the complications related to it. We aim to lessen that discrimination and, perhaps one day, eliminate it entirely.
Can I join?
Anyone can join Transpositive, whether cisgender, transgender or nonbinary, so long as they support trans/NB people.

If you use this marker on your profile, try to abide by the following things:
- Treat a trans/NB person just like you would anyone else.
- Try not to question them about sensitive subjects: surgery and hormones are one, but also even the subject of gender itself can be a doozy.
- If you're a person who takes commissions, do not question the difference between a trans/NB person's name and their legal name. Many trans people are often unable to find methods to change their legal name.
