A poem I wrote some time ago, I hope you enjoy it :)
Blossoming learning, growing, yearning
Absorbing all for better or worse.
Carefully tread, to leave you not dead
And skirt the path of danger with mirth.
Yet growing,
Some will find
A stop for you to turn your head-
distractions dare entice the mind
but corruption lurks,
For on your soul that entropy will dine.
But take heart little flower
For not all is lost.
Believe in the world
Give hate not thought.
Of badness or ruin which always belongs
Care for truth and light
To seek as a song,
Unending and fresh
As life begins new
For the knowledge to seek
all begins with you.
So seek hard and seek fast,
For the wisdom that lasts,
Off to wonder and wander
when in time you could
don't stray to far yonder
off in arcadian wood
