Tarquin's Armors (G)

[[Some thoughts on the different armors that Tarq has been drawn in or created for him. I was a bit nervous to share this but I'd really like to hear feedback, suggestions, changes, or balancing ideas...]]
00 - Casual Hardsuit
This armor is a typical turian civilian hardsuit with a few added in extras. There is a small batter built into the suit the can power light kinetic barriers or Omnitool based attacks, just not both at the same time. Thermally insulated to keep him closer to a desired temperature that is comfortable. Damage protection is minimal, only having armor plating in critical areas. The on-board tech package is upgraded with aftermarket parts that do augment the Omnitool’s capability including increased range and enhanced data storage.
01 - Combat Light Armor Hardsuit
This suit is an Ariake Technologies armor prototype that has been heavily modified by Xern Polito and Tarquin to fit the turian’s needs. Geared toward tech assisted mid-range combat it has a prototype tech armor projector built into the hardsuit. In order to successfully incorporate this into the armor, the dissipating energy pulse had to be disabled due to heavy battery drain and overloads. Activation adds a 33% bonus to barriers, an additional 33% can be achieved though tech talents will be unavailable and batteries will need time to recycle before being activated again. Emitters are situated in the orange areas of the armor. Armor can be projected close to the body for maximum potential but at the detriment of kinetic transfer or farther away to encompass gear or even another person but this reduces effectiveness significantly. If shields fail, ablative plate offers the remaining damage protection. A talon scratched or knife carved "V" is located on the inside collar of the armor's neck.
02 - Tech Intrusion Light Armor
This suit is a modified Serrice Council product that set him back nearly four months worth of credits to purchase, and a month’s credits just to get on the client list. The armor itself doesn't offer much in damage protection but it isn't designed for force on force engagements, Tarq customized it to be an Intrusion platform. Instead of going with a heavily expensive and mono-use cloaking system, a digital masking array was setup within the suit instead. Once triggered, the suit becomes "invisible" to security systems, VI's, security mechanized units, and even some AI's. Obviously higher-end or specialized systems may be able to see past the mask and identify a target. Suit lighting in this platform also doubles as antennae and arrays for broadcast, kinetic barrier projection, and a special feature that was built in. All external lighting on the suit can be shut down…essentially blacking him out in shadows and making him hard to acquire. On the opposite end of the spectrum the lighting can be "overloaded" essentially turning the suit into an incredible bright flashbang, stunning and disorientating aggressors. Tech armor projectors are also built into this suit but are less effective as most power consumption is dedicated to tech ability and the masking system that survivability in a firefight.
