Rough go of things lately (G)

Sorry for coming here to rant but I just feel like I need to get it out of my system. I learned today that someone forged my signature on my 2024 Tax Return check and deposited it into their own account. I need to now go through a big claims process with the IRS which is just an uncomfortable situation altogether. And I'm out thousands of dollars that I'm owed. To rub salt in the wound my house has a plumbing issue that is going to cost thousands - which would have been amazing if I had my tax return but I dont - _ -.

I'm doing everything in my power not to resort to kofi or a gofundme but I just dont know how this month is going to work out at the moment. If you're religious I'd love if you prayed for me, but if not I'll take any good vibes you're willing to send.
