Hello. Quite a bit has happened in the past couple of weeks, but I have something better than what I’ve been getting for quite a bit now.

First of you, those who read my prior journal (marked Mature) heard me mention that I was no longer friends with someone after they had used my trust as a front to do something nefarious that they refused to take accountability for. It took me two weeks later to respond to them and tell them how I feel. I shared with them most of the feelings in this previous journal, with one opportunity to explain themselves. They replied to me and told me that they regret what they did, and that all they can do now is move on. They agreed that we should go our separate ways, and that they want to do better next time. I’m not going to share everything they mentioned out of confidentiality purposes, but we split on a surprisingly calm note…and I broke down crying. I don’t usually cut ties with friends, but those of you that saw my prior journal will probably understand why. For those of you that didn’t, I will just say that the friend in question psychologically traumatized and took advantage of somebody else.

So…what’s the good news about all of this? Well, it’s the hope that they truly understood what they did and won’t ever do this again in the future. I can’t fully trust them right now, nor can I truly take their word for what they’re saying. Not to mention the people that have been hurt by their actions…that can’t be taken back. But maybe, just maybe…they truly understand what they’ve done and can live a better life of their own.

Otherwise, I am currently taking a break on Discord to try and improve my mental health. If I’m not seeing your message, it’s because I’m away for a bit…however long that might be. I do plan on returning, but I’m also not good with deadlines, so I can’t be exact >_<

I do hope to upload more art and stories that I’ve been working on very soon! I still have a backlog to clear out, along with anything new that I make that I decide to post.

As for college, I’m going to try and do my best with the rest of this semester. If I’m able to pass this, my last few classes with be so much easier. Honestly, it’s taken me a while to realize how far I’ve gotten…and while my experience has been LESS than ideal in a few ways, I will be happy to see it through and begin full-time work at a job that I can at least enjoy. And I will FINALLY be moving out of my crappy apartment very soon, I can’t really stay in that place for much longer ><

While not much has happened so far, these are a few positive things that have made my life a bit better…and I’m truly thankful for that.

One last thing: I want to try and make a Discord server or a Telegram channel, but I have no idea how to do that…or who would moderate that. If y’all have any tips when it comes to that, please let me know! I’d love to give this a shot. Oh, and streaming! I’d love to try that out as well at some point.
