Hi All,

I know its been a few years since I have been here but life has had me really busy.

After graduating college I had a lot of struggles trying to find a job and ended up living down at my parents properties while I looked for work. I had a few jobs, an IT/Cable/Network person... a Kohls employee, and such...

I eventually got called by a company known as Revature who trained me further in a technical background of Java coding.

From there I spent 5 months at their bootcamp becoming the best programmer I could be and getting awarded the title of "Most Valuable Programmer" of my batch because I was always there to put in the extra time and help everyone else out understand and resolve issues in their code.

Following that stint at the bootcamp, I landed a contract job for a large financial corporation out on the east coast. Once confirmed of location, Drake and I gathered everything we could fit into our little car and headed out to the specified location from Cali in 2 days... Long long drive btw.

We have been out here ever since working our tails off to prep for any of our medical expenses and everything else that comes with life.

Cut to 2 years later of working... I purchased a home for us and as for the job, I am one year into being a full time employee and now have more medical benefits.

In this amount of time I have had my appendix rupture/perforate and had a run-in with life/death situation as well as contracting colitis due to antibiotics not being strong enough to fight the bacteria post surgery.


I am heading into surgery in less than 3 weeks now and wanted to make sure that everyone I know feels like I haven't just disappeared.

It has been a long road but I am trying to make it back. I love each and every one of you
