I decided I had enough of social media back in February. I really don't regret it. It was a massive drain on mental bandwidth, and I admit I was rather addicted.
In the intervening time I've lost weight, read a half dozen books, finished an audiobook, listened to a huge amount of Alan Watts and Ram Dass lectures to further refine my worldview, and had a very pleasant and successful Furry Fiesta.
Find something optional you do that takes up a bunch of your time and cut back on it, see how much more you can do day to day.
