Just wanted to say a little about me. I am a mom who has 1 14 yr old daughter whom fell in love with a sheepdog costume I bought her at age 5 for Halloween (little did I know)
Being a single Mom money is tough and she wanted a fursuit more than anything at 13. Well I asked her to allow me to make her one and if she hated it, I would buy her one.
Needless to say she hasn't bugged me for one since. Unfortunetly for me I got the bug for building. I love the feeling of seeing them come to life, giving them a personality. I love each and everyone of them and sooo hard to see them go.
Sometimes it's like watching one of my kids leave. (Stupid huh?)
I am going in for surgery shortly and really need to see them go. Although my house always looks like a catfight happened in my livingroom and I go thru ALOT of lint brushes, I love my hobby and glad I found this. My friends only hear about the Yiffing part and think I am crazy. But can hardly wait to see the new ones. I defend the Furry population. At Califur I met some great people. Laughed at some/with some and have to admit I shook my head at some. Give me a break at 53 this is totally alien to me, But it's better than bingo. I've sold suits to kids that I have had to sneak to,because parents hate the whole concept. In the whole scheme of things I found the furry population cool people.
