𝔉enris 𝔐agni 𝔖vartulf is a Warrior-King that has inspired many skald songs through his heroics and deeds. The people see him as a power to be reckoned with,
both with pride and fear. He was an exemplar of the dire wolves, a bestial people who learn combat from their very first days and live their lives surrounded by it.
He snarls at that which he hates or finds displeasing, he is prone to fits of violence, and he solves his problems through domination and force.

Unlike some however, Fenris was a clever. His wisdom had been forged over time just as his fighting skills had. Not only had he read countless hours of books and
scrolls, he was smart in ways Kings had to become. He knew how to manage his home, who to rely on, and who to keep in check in case for when they betrayed
him one day. So many had and so many still would. He knew his priorities and he stuck to them, keeping the people fed and living at decent standard but not so
luxurious that others would suffer unnecessarily. Greed was perhaps his most hated vice, it led to such selfishness that brought the whole of the pack down with
a single fool's actions.

He was a cold man ever since he had slain the dragon that plagued his home, the skalds singing rumors that his heart had frozen over with ice as cold as the beast's
breath. Throughout the trials of bringing the four clans together under him, he was hardened with the lessons of leadership, his gauntlet like iron and his eyes steel.
There was no room for mercy and softness as a ruler of this kingdom, for the second he softened another would try to rise and take his place and bring the entire
thing collapsing down. His rule is just, he is honorable, but it is an honor he has captured with no small amount of brutality. He didn't much mind, either.

Fenris was prideful of his work, he enjoyed being King even if so many fools had made the job frustrating to no end. There was a certain satisfaction in being in
charge, making the calls - it sat right in him - and who wouldn't be prideful of a position that had been earned with so much blood, sweat and sacrifice? He was the
rightful heir, both from his blood and his power. If he was weak, he would want others to rise up and challenge him. In fact, the challenges that were thrown at him
kept his edge. It also served as reminders to others who might be less worthy not to waste his time. To be King was to do and be many things. It was to honor his
family's history; to be able to exercise his strength without impediment; to get what he wanted when he wanted; to be an aspiration to so many wolves below him;
and to simply make sure that all did not fall into chaos. He had seen enough in his years to know that he liked things more orderly and predictable.

While he often keeps to himself, he can always be seen standing confidently at any sort of ceremony or celebration. He leads with a firm presence that shows off his
competence. His words never waver and he never loses control of the situation before him - many have tried to throw him off with challenges and surprises only to
find the King all too prepared to deal with them on the spot and meet their bravery with his own. In fact, on occasions where he goes to gatherings he will often be
found inviting others to challenge him in some sport or game, allowing him an opportunity to get his daily exercise in as well as reinforce his rule and the peoples
belief in his worth.

Though he would prefer no one to know, he has not always been so self-assured. Leading up to the ceremony in which he would inherit his fathers position, sudden
betrayal and embarrassing defeat weighed heavily on him. He questioned just how ready and worthy he was, but in time he came to know he was the only one who
could do what he needed to do. Others were far too selfish, too reckless, and too stupid to bring Wulfheim into prosperity as he has done.
