Allie was a wonderful woman. I met her in our freshman year of highschool and we instantly became friends. Later on that friendship would develop into a 3 year long relationship which ended when I enlisted in the military. Despite a heated end, we continued as friends and she became more of a sister than anything else. I always loved her and, I still do now. The type of love is up to your own interpretation.

On December 17th of 2010, Allie was struck by a teenage driver when he ran a stop sign. She was killed that night, after leaving from my parents' house for a visit-only 3 miles from her parents' house. She was 22.

At the risk of sounding cliche, she does live on in hearts of those that loved her. She left behind her parents, both siblings, her "wolfy brother", and her wolf pack, NLSM. I just wish I had said more than "Bye, be careful." when she left that night. Rest her soul, she finally got those wings she always wished she could have.
