Hello, this is a bit late but last month I finally had it with Kroger, the place that I have been working at for the past 5 years of my life, for most of this final year the schedule they have gave me every week was extremely lacking in terms of hours, basically working at most two days for a total of 8 hours, which I tried to just deal with as this has happened a few times in the previous two years, but I believed it would eventually return to normal again.

But then they started giving me weeks with 0 hours, meaning absolutely no pay for a whole week, again, I tried to focus on my commissions with the extra time. Then once more I was given some hours but they were outside my Avaliability, a timeframe I was willing to work and had grown accustomed to. And no matter how many time and people I asked, they refused to change it, saying the Avalibility I was asking for was not "Feasible" and that I should be "avaliable for longer."

I was asking for 2pm to 8:30pm, a 6 hour amd 30 minute window that if I may remind you, was perfectly fine until a few months ago apparently. And they were forcing me to stay till 11pm which is when I am supposed to be sleeping in my current schedule, and 9 was when I have Dinner, so I'm basically forced to either buy something to eat, or wait till 11pm to eat and then head to bed. All while they were forcing me to work Utilities or Janitor, a job I never asked for and have told them *twice* that I did not want to work in that department.
So I told them to give me my two weeks so I can leave.

One day in that two weeks it became too much when that night's Supervisor told me to do a bale, basically cleaning the cardboard compressor and recycling the cardboard block, something that is not my job, not even a Utilities job, and highly dangerous as the cube of cardboard can easily crush me and the metal wire can snap and cut me like a whip.

I simply wanted to bring a bin out and that was apparently unacceptable, so she yelled at me.
I was basically done with this company's shit, so I threw my vest away and walked out, I have not entered Kroger since.
