I tied posting this Journal once before. I just didn't think I told the story right.
This embarrassing for Me to tell, but I am well aware of how lucky I am that embarrassed is all I am by this.
I also don't think anyone here is dumb enough to fall for something like this. I just wanted to shed light on another scam out There.
I few days ago when I went to log in to My Paypal account A notice popped up saying I was locked out of My account.
I then called the customer service number provided and thinking I was taking to a PayPal Technician I shared information that I should not have. (And sadly knew not to, but for some reason I did not see the Red Flags). I realized far too late that I was being scammed and it only by The Grace of God that My Identity was not stolen.
I have since taken the steps needed to fix The mistakes I made. So I am OK.
It just terrifies Me when I think of how I could have ruined My life had events played out differently.
Like I said it is only by The Grace Of God that My identity was not stolen.
And thanks to My Bank and Credit Card company that I did not get robbed.
