Hey all; I'm Lloyd. I am a political science major at the University of Ottawa currently in my second year. I am not really an artist; although the occasional story may come out on here, I mainly just have this to follow a bunch of cool people and see their art. Hope you all have a good day! :)

Short Story - James (G)
Hey everyone. Boy, its been a while since I posted here eh? I have been extremely busy but I had most of tonight off, and I decided I'd type up a short little something. I may come back to it, I have ideas for what I may do with it but we'll need to see lol.

The night air was cool and calm, blowing gently through James’ office window, the smoke from the smouldering cigarettes in the ash tray wafting around the room, dancing on the breeze. It was a sweet autumn night, a night not out of the ordinary. The clatter of his typewriter filled the otherwise calm room, as he leaned over to light a new cigarette. He glanced over at the old desk clock to see it’s hands at 11:36. “Can’t sleep baby?” James heard from behind him, as he turned around to see Jason standing in the doorway, stretching out his shoulders. James smiled, and got up to kiss Jason’s forehead “I won’t be much longer deer.” He said as he rubbed on Jason’s antlers “Oh haha Mr. Funny Fox,” Jason said as he kissed James on the lips “just don’t be too long eh, I need someone to wrap my arms around at night.” James smiled, “It’s getting late I guess eh? Maybe we should go to bed then; will you let me finish this paragraph?” “Of course hon,” Jason said “but if that’s the case then I’m going to sit with you. I’ll put on some boxers.”
James sat back and looked over his work. He was trying to get the proposal done just right, he knew that he would need to present it to the Cabinet by Friday and he needed to make sure that it covered all the bases. “Now is the time for action not speeches…we all have a duty to our great nation…we serve the People not the rich…decisiveness will be all that stands between us and failure…” he started muttering to himself as he read over portions of the speech for the proposal, when he felt soft hands on his shoulders, “Hmmm, what has my clever fox been creating here, now?” James said as he kissed James’ ear and knelt next to him, “The General Proposal for The Universal Housing Initiative and National Poverty Elimination Strategy” Jason read aloud, “you know babe you’re really clever but you need to make catchier titles,” he said to James with a smirk, “can’t have your Ministers falling asleep on your now, can we?” James kissed his forehead, “well that’s why I have you silly, need someone to bounce ideas off of.” He smiled as he ashed his cigarette, “I do think you’re right though, we should get to bed.” He jumped up and grabbed Jason’s hand “Well of course! Cuddles are extremely important before big speeches, hehe,” Jason said, “but don’t get too carried away now, you need to be ready for tomorrow,” He raised an eyebrow at James, “and that means sleep you dork.” James smiled warmly, “Well I’ll take a rain check on fun until tomorrow after my speech then, eh?” Jason gave a wry smile, “Foxes man,” he kissed him and brought him in close “now are you coming to bed now Mr. Needy Fox, or am I going to need to drag you into these cuddles?”
