Alrighty well as the title say yeah here's my 2026 journal that will sort of server as a recap, a reminder and an outline one what I hope to accomplish and or layout what I'm looking to do over this year!

So first off HAPPY NEW YEAR and welcome to 2026!
Second my 2025 AYIR image up and posted detailing a good chunk of what I got done this year and overall I'm pretty damn proud of it! I know I was light on the journaling this year and that will change as again I've got a lot to say and creative stuff to get out of me in more than just drawing as well being a DM a player and regular RPer I'd like to get some of that stuff down as well as not trying but doing more finished or coloured works.

But yeah onto the recap, so my '25 was well an overall good year some places I was just in a holding pattern some places I made improvements and some places well I slipped up on the... uhh professional side. But overall i tried new things drew new things and went to new places!
The big one being Vegas to see one of my musical heroes Weird Al! And what a trip it was getting to hang out with some of my best buds AND my hubbie Danji of yeah that was fantastic a whole week there seeing the sights and sounds and weirdness of Vegas not through the lens of Fallout XD

On the other hand art wise I personally think I got a LOT more skilled and seeing how much more dynamic I'm drawing makes me happy as well as doing more than just reptiles really gets me going and makes me feel more rounded, as well whew on the video game dev side its hard work wearing about 17 different hats and doing a TON of art for Velocity Loop and the level designing as well lots of greyboxing to turn into actual models!

NOW on to the coming year and what I'm looking do do!

Well the biggest goal is, playing permanent host to my wonderful draconid hubbie that's right it'll be Danji time ALL the time as I'm looking to help him get settled in and moved here as again looking at 8+ years together already so one could say that yeah its serious >:3
So that will be a big move and a new challenge plus a lot of fun!

Second biggest is, I gots ta gots ta GOTS TA do more finished works like actual colour ( even just flats ) so that I can really bring out my characters and see them become more than monochrome lines, that and so I'm not rushing if I get a comm and find out the characters pallet is outdated or nonexistent!
So hoping for more more coloured works and more finished pieces!

Three as we call it, gonna look to trying my hands and more than just my art, that's right I'm looking open up commissions, at least a few to see how things fair and if I can do it time wise but i feel that is the next logical step to help me grow is getting outside my bubble of art and start make stuff for others who have some remarkable ideas, that and HHHOOOO boy have I had some wonderful people ask me about getting comms and even convince me to try it, so yeah with that potential demand there I'd like to take that step so expect to see some sort of price guide and stuff...

Fourth, be more active in the community and posting to places, sure sure that is the easy one just find places and post bbbbuuuuuttt yeah its one that needs to get done especially If I'm gonna be playing marketer to the game, so best to start with me where I can mess up XD
So yeah I'll be sending out links and showing off other places maybe even making some exclusives for other spots, like my telegram channel *nudge nudge wink wink* where I post the rough gesture sketches to ALL my drawings!

5th, just do more art! Just keep making keep things and enjoying and keep being creative, its a big one, this is an escape and comfort for me to be making and playing and just well drawing and I still want to keep doing that and getting better and making new things, drawing new species new backgrounds new items new everything!
So yeah in the short of it I'm not going anywhere and I WILL be trying new things and drawing new things and sharing what i get got or will do! No sense keeping it all bottled up so there will be some exploration and new kinks some new things that I will explore doing keep your ears peeled and eyes perked!

Last is treasure this, all this, fans, friends and family! I'm so lucky to have them and I thank each and everyone that takes the time to look at my stuff and interact, it really means to world to be in this community and I adore whats here, so thank you to my diehards, my new fans, the occasional commenters and the infinite favers thank you!
