The old rough paint style was effectively the same thing as my normal style. Except I felt bad about getting lazy and tried not to go into the really fine details that finish it out. Ultimately it was a significant discount for 95% of the same work. I've changed how rough paint is done in an effort to make them not so awful to do, and at the same time cut prices a bit. Examples of the new rough paint style can be seen in my latest submissions. All the same a simple background is now included with all commissions, including rough paint (kind of a silent change I had drifted towards before but I'm stating it here). I feel like having something can just be a big factor in making it look more interesting.
