So uh... I'm not very good at this >.< I'm just your average artist and I love bears (kinda obvious really xD). I'm kinda new to the furry fandom, so bear with me if I make any mistakes. It is not my intention to hurt anyone in any way. I'm currently working on my character and all I can say this far is that it'll probably have many similarities to Kenai from Brother Bear. I saw the movie only recently and I completely fell in love with it. I've had many ideas how my character would look like before I saw the movie, but I couldn't find a drawing style that I liked. After seeing Brother Bear and drawing a few sketches I decided it was going to be the style I'll use. I assume Kenai and I are pretty close in terms of age, seeing how the coming-of-age ceremony is usually done when a person is about 17. So I'll probably use Kenai as a "base" and please don't get mad if it'll look a lot like him, unless they're of different size, the bears in the movie don't have that many differences, besides the color of the fur. I'll start off by drawing bits from the movie, to get the hang of it. Hope you'll like it when it's finished.

The name "Karuma" came from the Estonian "karu" and Japanese "kuma", which in both languages means "bear". "Karu" seemed to simple and "Kuma" was already taken. And since "Karuma" was taken too I just added "Bear", since I liked the name and didn't want to change it... So just call me Karuma or "Karu" for short =D

Just another thing I wanted to point out, I'm not from an English-speaking country, so I'd be happy if you'd correct any errors I make. Just to help me speak better =D
