After weeks of chemo and blood tests, I’ve finally reached the halfway point, today marking the end of the 3rd round. As a measure to see if all was going well, a new CT scan was scheduled last week on the 2nd of April. I was a bit nervous about it but also excited to know if things were on the right track or if there was a hurdle I might need to jump over.

As of today, I’ve found that there are indeed some hurdles and questions, as some growths and cysts have been discovered. There’s not much we can do at the moment until everything is more clearly reviewed, but with this, it’s been a bit of a slap. I know that being active is the hardest thing I can do with all this going on, but some days, everything just feels like a blaze of pain. I’m not sure if it’s from the chemo or if my body is just doing its own thing. There shouldn’t be anything growing, but there is. I had been cleared months ago that there was nothing to worry about, but my numbers had spiked a bit just before starting the new treatment. Then they steadily came down, though it seems they stopped and then went back up a bit, as shown in these recent tests.

I am still hopeful that things will work out; it’s just a bit of a worry, scare, and frustration, I suppose, that this new predicament has arisen. Though, leave it to me to have some of the rarest reactions to all of this. XD
