Hi, my is.. well officially "Greenwater", thanks native american mom, but most official people just use the name "Han" instead, though i prefer to be called Akira.
I've been putting off coming back here to FA thanks to the way i was harrassed here years ago while the admins did nothing, but i think it's time i returned.

My species is a silver trout, which despite wikipedia's article is in fact not extinct just very very nearly so.
I should know this because I'm part of the breeding program responsible for it's longevity as well as many other critically endangered fish species, sturgeons especially.
My character is non-anthropomorphic (at least physically) and wears mechanical limbs strapped to their body that they control via their fins.
They also wear breathing equipment that supplies them with recycled oxygenated water when out of the ocean, since they can't breathe air.
My character does have a couple of differences from their wild cousins including intelligence, skin and eyes that don't dry out as fast and magnetic powers.
This does mean they share some odd traits with their wild cousins including a strange perspective, being really short and some strong instinctive habits.

I'm the second in command in a fish-based anthro community known as Fish Army, who really don't like the Japanese even though I'm half Japanese myself.
Also don't ask to join the Fish Army community with an aquatic mammal character.
The clue is in the name, either make a fish oc for yourself or just don't use an oc at all.
It's that simple.

When I was 4 my dad brought home a whole fish to make dinner with and i played with it like a doll.
Ever since then i guess I've been moving in this direction, mostly spurred on by being offended by the way fish are treated and maybe issues with my dad tbth.

Please no inappropriate comments like how much you'd like to eat me or trap me in a tiny aquarium or stuff like that.
Once or twice or a few times is funny and i understand that because of the trope and everything, but if you keep it up that's harassment and i'll get the admins on you.
If you don't treat my choices and opinions with respect you can't expect me to respect your choices and opinions in return.
