 I specialize in intersectional queer/critical theory, a theory that doesnt just asks "why are you gay" because we need to respect NSFW art these days... but also to study the contrast between established narratives about society and how they downplay & reinforce the material reality of systemic hierarchies behind them.

 (i.e. some people say racism ended with Barack Obama, but there is still massive incarceration rates and disproportionate violence towards black people & less class mobility among them perhaps contributed to the US' roots as a capitalist, settler-colonial state)

 I am post-theist (the Marxist view on religion as the "opiate of the masses" and "the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions" best represents my views, and see some parts of religion and spirituality as important in social struggles like liberation theology)
